My wife and I spent two nights at the Forrest Inn in early July 2017. We travel a lot and spend many nights each year in a variety of hotels. We were very impressed with what we had here for a very reasonable price. Very clean and comfortable with a very adequate continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly and really tried to make our stay pleasant. We will certainly go back when we're in the area.
We were in town for a wedding. I have serious issues with mobility so I chose this hotel because I wanted one level. I am also very "picky" when it comes to where we choose to stay. The Forrest Inn Motel was recommended by my nephew's new wife. I went to trip advisers and wanted to see what else was available. I read the reviews and quickly decided I would go with the Forrest Inn. I am so glad we did!!! It was beautifully decorated. The rooms were nice sized. The CLEAN environment was a joy to come back to after the hectic wedding activites. I think one reviewer said it was like staying with family. The continental breakfast was perfect. We were on the go most of the time and it was nice to have a light breakfast available. There were several different choices, from fresh fruit to cereal, to yogurt and cream cheese with bagels. I would like to come back so that we can enjoy the many fishing and water activities around the area. Thank you to the management and the staff for a lovely stay!
My family, and extended family, was very satisfied with the accomodations, breakfast, hospitality, cleanliness, and decor. This is a gem of a motel. Yes, the breakfast offered no hot things, but we didn't expect that. Our boys LOVED the raisin bread and commented that the coffee was very good. There was plenty to fill your stomach and not have to buy breakfast. This motel did a lot of little things, decor...hospitality...great hard boiled eggs. We would 100% stay there again, and I am picky. Worth the $90!!!
Very clean room and friendly service. We enjoyed our stay here.
Dear Leland, (per the review below)
It is very disheartening that you found a "continental breakfast" cheap. It is also very disheartening that you found a conversation about our Military and Veterans to be "unwelcomed." There are very close ties to our Military within our motel. Infact, one of the Marines that was slaughtered in Chattanooga, Tennessee was a family member along with several other ties to our Military. To be disrespectful to a Disabled Veteran is highly unlikely. We are very proud of our staff and our accommodations here at the Forrest Inn. Our mission is to ensure each guest is comfortable and enjoy their stay with us.
while visiting for a wedding my family stayed here. while the rooms were ok the beakfast was cheap , the front desk attendant was extremely rude and inserted herself into a conversation she was not apart of and made remarks not needed towards me a disabled vet and surrounding family ,and made us feel very unwelcome. this experience was also had by my father and his wife. maybe because they are one of few options around they feel like they can treat people this way but i found them very un professional. as
We had a awesome stay very clean and friendly staff ! kudos too KIM the manager the motel is up to date and VERY clean!
Stayed for 4 nights...could not have been happier for the price we payed
Clean, convenient to everything in Amery and very friendly service! Will definately stay again when in that area!
We had a 3 night stay due to family in the hospital. Very accommodating and Kim was very friendly and helped with all she could. She was so down to earth. Clean rooms and great continental breakfast. Love this place and we will definitely stay again when in town. Thank you Kim for a great experience.
Even though I do not live in a hotel, the environment here is like one. From the wonderful staff to the clean and up kept rooms, this place is worth pulling into.
